Mover Position Requirements and Duties
Requirements:
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) for extended periods.
- Communication: Must have a phone for contact.
- Background Check: Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability: Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload furniture and other items onto and off the moving truck.
- Packing and Unpacking: Assist in packing items securely and unpacking them at the destination.
- Furniture Assembly/Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed for transport.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Handling Items with Care: Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintaining Equipment: Keep moving equipment and vehicles clean and in good working condition.
- Following Instructions: Follow the team leader's instructions and adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
- Navigating Routes: Assist in navigating routes and ensuring timely arrival at destinations.
